Summer Update

Hello friends!

Things have not been so great again at home with my Dad :(

I am still asking for prayers for Dad, Granny, and me.

Summer seems to have flown by!

 My favorite month (October) and my 30th Birthday will be here soon.

I have been house and pet sitting for people. It has got me out of the house and made some extra money for my travel jar :)

I have been doing a lot of reading and dreaming this summer :) 

Has anyone watched Poldark on PBS? At first when I caught an episode here and there I did not care for the show. When I watched the show from the beginning on Amazon Prime I fell in love with the story. I have been reading the books and am excited for Season two of the show in September. The books are a bit different from the show, but I have still enjoyed them!

I was planning on attending Cosmetology school in September. Well, I was  given a very nice raise and a bonus at work and have decided to stay for now.  Cosmetology school is still very much something I want to do. I now have the chance to be able to save up a bit of money and get my car paid off in the next year. I had been praying about what to do, and thought the raise was my answer for now.

I am trying to stay put at Granny's for now, for her. I am just not sure how much longer I can take it. It's taking it's toll on my Granny. I have been to social services and several other agencies and basically there is nothing we can do until my Granny tells Dad to leave. She is torn herself about what to do, so again I ask for continued prayer for my Dad and our situation.

I am going to be an Aunt again! It's exciting and something we can look forward too.

I am an Activity Day Leader for the 8-11 year old at church. We meet two Wednesdays a month. I have really enjoyed planning lessons and activities for the children. I love to plan things! and it's fun!
